Yin
and Yang
Everything is inseparable and
contradictory opposites. This is the principle of Yin
(阴 yīn)and Yang (阳 yáng). Originally, Yin is the shady
side, and Yang is the sunny side. So Yin refers to the
object with less energetic qualities; and Yang refers
to the object with more energetic qualities.
The following is some examples of
Yin and Yang:

Things are not isolated, and
they are a harmonious entity. Yin and Yang are complementary and
interrelated with each other.
As long as things are balanced, the harmony will be able
to achieved.
From ancient time, Chinese people have put Yin Yang theory
into their daily life use, such as Chinese traditional
medicine and Tai Qi Kung Fu. People use Yin Yang theory to
balance things in order to achieve harmony in the nature,
their body and health.
