The Chinese Strokes II

   
    In last lesson, I talked about some basic and combining Chinese Strokes. In this lesson, I will talk about some rules of the order of the strokes. When writing the Chinese character, it is important to follow the order of the strokes. There are some rules of the orders:

Rule I: from left to right (从左到右)
            For example: 你 她 他

Rule 2: from top to bottom (从上到下)
              For example: 二 早 古

Rule 3: horizontal before vertical (先横后竖)
              For example: 十 下 干

Rule 4: pie before na (先撇后捺)
               For example: 人 天 大

Rule 5: middle before two sides (先中间后两边)
              For example: 小 水

Rule 6: from outside to inside (从外到内)
              For example: 月 问 闪

Rule 7: inside before closing (先里头后封口)
              For example: 日 回 国
